Meet Our Team

The founding President of JSS. Haruki oversees operations, leads event planning, and works hard to secure sponsorships. A reliable leader with a sense of humor, he is apparently still thinking of a witty one-liner to put here.

The first Vice-President and a key contributor to the founding of JSS. Rinta actively supports the society activities by managing operations and organizing events. He also takes care of IT management, including building this official website. Fun fact: he choked on karintō when he was 3 years old and was rushed to the hospital.

The society mood-maker and design expert. Shuji uses his creative skills to lead social media marketing and is also the designer of the JSS logo. On top of that, he manages the finances as Treasurer. Once, he boldly declared victory before a chess match against a 10-year-old—only to suffer a crushing defeat. At work, people even call him "Sushi."

Responsible for planning and supporting JSS events, Shotaro plays a key role in making our gatherings run smoothly. Fun fact: he was actually born in Saudi Arabia.

Miyuko handles secretarial duties for JSS. She strengthens community connections and, with her cheerful personality, actively supports new members.
